Meet The Dentist
Dr. Huy "Hudson" Vuong, DDS
Cooking connection to Dentistry
Dr. Vuong has always been drawn to work that blends precision with creativity. Cooking is one example-it requires careful technique, timing, and attention to detail, but also flexibility and judgment in the moment. Dentistry feels very similar in that way. It’s a craft that demands technical skill, thoughtful planning, and adaptability chairside. What he enjoy most is that combination—using his hands, his judgment, and his attention to detail to create outcomes that are both functional and natural-looking for patients.
Education & Experience
After receiving double degree in Biology and Chinese Studies at University of Houston, he went on to achieve a Master’s in Medical Science (M.M.S.) at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Vuong then headed to Touro College of Dental Medicine to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Following graduation from dental school, he pursued an Implant Pathway residency with Restored Smiles. Furthermore, he is certified in Laser for Dentistry and focuses on advanced cases in surgical implants, cosmetic, extractions, restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, CAD/CAM (digital), and endodontics. He is on the mastery track to pursue his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a distinction given to only to a small percentage of dentists. Dr. Vuong has worked in several healthcare fields.

Home Life
As a Houston native, Dr. Vuong enjoys spending time outdoors with his miniature poodle, Milo. Outside the office, he likes exploring new restaurants with family and friends, playing video games, and getting out on the golf course when he can. He’s also an avid traveler and enjoys hearing about—or sharing—stories from trips around the world, including the occasional skydiving adventure.
In his downtime, he enjoys reading, especially the novels of Dan Brown, and is a fan of science fiction and fantasy series such as Star Wars and Game of Thrones. He’s also a loyal supporter of Houston sports teams.
