About Luis
I was born and spent a big part of my life in Puerto Rico. Besides New York city, Connecticut and Massachusetts. No matter where we moved to, I’ve always kept my pen, notebook and dictionary with me, like an extension of my arm. I have always been in love with writing, it was a way for me to twist the cap off all the things that I have kept bottled up inside. It was and still is a way for me to deal with life. I have seen and experienced enough to leave a mark behind, letting others know that I was here long after I am gone, and pens have ran out of ink.
Reviews
One of things I look forward to when I pick up a Dani Pettrey book is her cast of characters. Whether they’re a family or a team, she always draws me into the story through them.

I started thinking it was different, and delightfully engaging. I could NOT put it down. Decidedly different, but surprisingly addictive! Love the plot and all the twists. Nothing like I have read before. Highly recommended!

This author is an automatic buy for me and I’m happy to report that she knocked it out of the park once again. This one is filled with so much intrigue that I couldn’t put it down! The balance of romance and mystery/ danger was perfect and I can’t wait until I get to read what happens next with Riley and Deckard.

Dani Pettrey has set the bar high for romantic suspense novels with One Wrong Move (Jeopardy Falls Book #1)! One Wrong Move was my first novel of the year, and I read it in one day. Pettrey has created an engaging plot that grabs your attention from the first sentence.

Exactly what I’ve come to expect from Dani. Lots of threads to unravel, unexpected twists and turns and all the pieces in their place by the end of the story.
Lyn
Loved this first in what I hope is a long series! Great characters, plot with lots of action and twists I didn’t see coming. Love the faith shown by the main characters as well. A most enjoyable book that I had trouble putting down!

Coastal Guardians Series
Danger and death lurk beneath the rough seas off the coast of Wilmington, Delaware. Coast Guard Investigative Team led by Special Agent in Charge, Noah Riley, work in near unison despite their vastly different histories and areas of expertise. Each case grows more deadly as every criminal they hunt is a trained killer.

Chesapeake Valor Series
Set on the beautiful shores of the Chesapeake Bay outside Baltimore, Maryland, four friends since childhood divided by loss are pulled back together when a case tugs them back in. Each in law-enforcement, they all have a different role to play in catching criminals’ intent on taking them out one-by-one.

Alaskan Courage Series
Meet the McKenna clan. Out in the Aleutian chain on the island of Yancey, Alaska, the McKennas own an adventure outfitting company. Rugged terrain, frigid temps and inherent danger. The McKennas live for it all, but a different kind of danger has entered their lives and none of them will ever be the same.

Novellas
Ranging from a crime with far-reaching implications in breathtaking Alaska to a killer bent on revenge on a small, secluded island in the Chesapeake Bay, to two CGIS agents hunting down the murderer responsible for a family member’s death in a rugged small town in the stark wilds of New Mexico. Three novellas, three deadly puzzles to be solved.

Notes

Happy Wednesday, friends! As authors, we deal with words, and I’d venture to say we’re enthralled with them—striving to use just the right words to convey what we want to say. I listened to a sermon the other day. It was about Caleb, his hope and finishing strong. The Israelites in the wilderness were the opposite.

Hi friends, and happy Wednesday! I’m writing this from my new office in our new home in Florida. Yep! We just made a big move from Maryland, where we’d lived for thirty-one years, to Florida. Let me tell you, you can accumulate A LOT of stuff being in the same house for thirty years. Yikes!

I’m preparing to head off for a season of travel through mid-December. I’ll be taking one trip per month, and while it’s a lot of travel for me, I’m so excited about it. I love to travel, see new places, visit with friends, and gather with writers. This quote is one of my favorites.
