I was born and spent a big part of my life in Puerto Rico. Besides New York city, Connecticut and Massachusetts. No matter where we moved to, I’ve always kept my pen, notebook and dictionary with me, like an extension of my arm. I have always been in love with writing, it was a way for me to twist the cap off all the things that I have kept bottled up inside. It was and still is a way for me to deal with life. I have seen and experienced enough to leave a mark behind, letting others know that I was here long after I am gone, and pens have ran out of ink.
F.A.Q
Who has inspired you as a writer?
Agatha Christie has had the most inspiration on me as a writer and a reader. I received a copy of the Murder on the Orient Express for Christmas when I was eight. I devoured it and have all her novels featuring Poirot.
What’s your favorite writing snack?
Starbucks Brown Sugar Shaken Espresso and homemade trail mix with almonds, dried cranberries and chocolate chips (dark, of course).
When did you start writing?
I’ve been doodling story ideas in notebooks since I was a kid. I love the power of story, but it wasn’t until I was in my thirties that I really got serious about writing.
