Slap Boxing?
Not many people know, but slap boxing is as American as apple pie. Slap boxing is like a rite of passage for many: young boys standing in front of each other, sparring with open hands; becoming tougher; proving to their friends and themselves that they are becoming a man. It taught us the basic fundamentals of protecting yourself. The key was that, in the end, we all lived to spar another day.
The Detroit Slap Boxing Company wants to bring that back fight to live another day – not only in Detroit, but in every community around the world.
